68% Cotton 32% Linen
This fabrics blends the freshness of cotton with the physical properties of linen, for a shirt that allows the skin to truly breathe while remaining immaculate under a suit. Cotton and linen fibers both have plant-based origins and are very durable with thermoregulatory properties.
To make it we put our trust in the Canclini workshops in the Como region, who have been traditionally producing clothing since 1925. They only choose premium quality raw materials and follow ethical working practices. They use renewable energy sources and cutting-edge dyeing machinery that allows 70% savings on energy and water usage.

Care
This garment can be washed in the washing machine, on a low spin cycle that doesn’t exceed 30°C. Lay it out flat to dry to ensure it keeps its shape well.
If you’d like to be even gentler, wash it by hand: leave to soak for 5 minutes, rinse and wring it out while keeping it wrapped up in a towel to preserve the natural fibers.
Last tip from us: be conservative with the detergent and softener, there’s no need to overdo it. Store the clean folded garment in a cool dry place.

Design
Great craftsmanship begins with premium quality ethically-sourced materials, giving you a garment that will last a lifetime.
This shirt has a semi-spread collar, with a slightly elongated point length so that it stays elegant underneath the suit: it will rest on the collarbones just underneath the lapel of the jacket.
The armhole is shifted, allowing the wearer increased freedom of movement. This technique comes from typical bespoke tailoring, in which the armscye seam is deliberately misaligned from the side seam.
In the seam on this shirt you can count 7 stitches per centimeter: high-quality shirts have narrower stitches because they’re more refined and resistant.
The flat fell seam is 3mm wide: the border at the bottom is small and fine, and the side stitching is narrow and elegant. To fell means to sew on the wrong side, taking the excess fabric, folding it under a sewing machine foot and closing it all. This technique requires a certain level of experience.
Where the side seam meets the hem we’ve added a gusset, a small triangle of fabric to reinforce the stitching.
The buttons are made of mother-of-pearl trocas: a natural and precious material made from trochidae shells. Slightly opaque, it goes well with the sophisticated yet casual style of the shirt.
The finished garment is then washed, so the shirt will stay as beautiful as you see it. Our artisans line up the fabric at the cutting stage and wash the finished piece so it won’t shrink in subsequent washes.

Our packaging
We’ve carefully designed our packaging, selecting sustainable materials in order to reduce waste and make the packing process easier for our artisans.
The cardboard is fully recycled and recyclable, as is the twine and packing tissue. Depending on your purchase, you’ll also find one or more cotton bags for your convenience: reuse them for home and wardrobe storage, or for organizing your things when going away on trips.

Made in Italy
We’ve always put our trust in the hands of the best local craftsmen. Afterall, Italy itself is like a huge open-air workshop. This shirt was sewn in Francavilla Fontana, in the Brindisi province. The Apulian district has a long history in the textile industry. Antonio and Valentina, owners of our shirt factory there, have worked really hard to build a business that today operates worldwide.
