This unlined sneaker in suede calfskin with an amber rubber sole evokes earthy shades and a vintage feel. Light and soft on the foot, it has a removable insole. The logo has been specially redesigned for this sporty line with simple profiles: in a word, essential. Pair this shoe with a denim jacket, serafino shirt and cotton and linen trousers.
Made in Montegranaro (Italy)
A sports shoe must first of all be comfortable, soft and light. That's why our Running shoes undergo a strobel process: the upper is joined to the insole forming a bag that is then fixed to the sole.
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and dark brown coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
With it’s rubber, it pays respect to the traditions of sneaker culture. Technically called “box bottom” it’s made with 100% rubber. With a very light, smooth and flat sole, it’s suitable for a refined and casual all-purpose look.
Suede calf leather comes from the innermost layer of leather, which is worked through buffing: it consists of abrading the surface, which reveals its typical velvety effect.
