Stretch cotton gabardine (Cotton and Elastane)
This fabric is dense, durable and has an almost shimmery look to it. If you look at it up close, you’ll notice its diagonal structure, with stripes running at a 45° angle.
Gabardine is made of cotton, and its name comes from the Spanish word for workers’ overalls. Over time it made its way into the quality menswear sector, thanks to its density and versatility. The addition of elastane makes for elevated comfort.
Care
We recommend washing this garment inside out in the washing machine, on a low spin cycle that doesn’t exceed 30°C.
If you’d like to be even gentler, wash it by hand: leave to soak for 5 minutes, rinse and wring it out while keeping it wrapped up in a towel to preserve the natural fibers. Lay it out flat in the shade to dry, out of direct sunlight.
Last tip from us: be conservative with the detergent and softener, there’s no need to overdo it. Store the clean folded garment in a cool dry place.

Our packaging
We’ve carefully designed our packaging, selecting sustainable materials in order to reduce waste and make the packing process easier for our artisans.
The cardboard is fully recycled and recyclable, as is the twine and packing tissue. Depending on your purchase, you’ll also find one or more cotton bags for your convenience: reuse them for home and wardrobe storage, or for organizing your things when going away on trips.

We put time and care into selecting the fabrics we use and the companies we work with. In Italy, each region has its own area of expertise. It’s like a huge open-air workshop. This garment has been crafted in Martina Franca, in the Taranto province (Apulia).
