100% Irish linen
Irish linen is premium quality, using a different yarn structure to that of traditional linen. It’s thicker with more weight to it, so it’s less prone to creasing. Its properties include thermoregulation and durability. Its cultivation naturally consumes few nutrients from the earth, leaving healthy soil, and the entire plant gets used after harvesting. This linen was made by Holland and Sherry, a historic company that has worked with wool for generations, all while maintaining respect for both people and the environment.

Care
This garment can be washed in the washing machine, on a low spin cycle that doesn’t exceed 30°C. Lay it out flat to dry to ensure it keeps its shape well.
Linen is particularly durable, but if you’d like to be even gentler, wash it by hand: leave to soak, rinse it out and wrap it in a towel before wringing out excess water to preserve the natural fibers.
Last tip from us: be conservative with the detergent and softener, there’s no need to overdo it. Store the clean folded garment in a cool dry place.

Design
The best tailors are masters of form and balance. We went to Naples, the home of traditional tailoring and deep-rooted excellence, for a sartorial suit that falls well and enhances the body’s silhouette.
The blazer is structured, making it durable with a balanced aplomb. That means it has a canvas interlining between the fabric and the lining, giving it shape. Our interlinings are prepared by hand, so this process demands particular care and attention.
The ‘barchetta’ pocket can be found near the top, drawing the eye to the blazer’s perfectly inclined V shape - wide-set shoulders and narrow at the waist.
The Neapolitan shoulder: the armscye is made to be larger than the sleeve head opening, so that when they are sewn together, some shirring is visible on the shoulder seam. This sophisticated technique allows increased flexibility and freedom of movement.
The buttonholes are hand sewn with a needle and thread, as they were back in the day.
The buttons are made of corozo: a naturally eco-friendly material derived from the nut of the Tagua Palm tree in Ecuador. It has natural veining, making every garment unique.
In the pants’ waistband we’ve added a stabilizing tape that acts as a supportive lining. This skilled technique, along with the rear V-split, makes for an impeccable fit. The V-split can be found at the back of the waistband, giving room for freedom of movement or a tailor’s intervention.
The button placket is extended: that way the waist is secure and the zipper nicely hidden away.
