Description
An unlined silk tie with an all-over blue and green micro-patterned print. The white yarns are first worked on classic looms and then the printing process is carried out.
Designed with Fabio Attanasio and made in San Giorgio a Cremano (Italy)
Construction
The fabric is cut at a 45° angle, which is known as the 'true bias': this ensures that when worn, the tie hangs correctly without rolling up. Then it is hand-sewn with no lining and finishes with the roulé hemming, a technique in which the edges are rolled up and then sewn by hand.
Material
This unlined tie is made of pure silk. Perfect for the winter months, but also for the warm season thanks to its incredible lightness.
Features
It has a high joist: a virtuoso craftsmanship, which serves to unite the flaps of fabric that make up the tie. It is unlined and wraps around the neck with natural softness, resting lightly on the shirt.
