Suede leather and greased nubuck
Two leather finishes: suede and nubuck, for a vintage look. Both are made from full-grain leather of the highest quality.
Suede is the underside of the leather: the innermost part undergoes a light abrasion that brings out its classic velvety feel. The outermost part is what touches the foot, softly enveloping it with a glove-like fit.
Nubuck is used on the edges: sanded and buffed to bring out that peach fuzz feel and give greater depth to the shades. Finally, it is greased to remain compact and wear-resistant.
Strobel construction
Strobel construction makes for a particularly lightweight and flexible shoe that suits casual style.
The process begins with careful study of the leather; after finding the best part, the artisan cuts and shapes it round the last to form the upper. This is then delicately hammered to smooth down the seams and soften the parts that come into contact with the foot. Now the outsole can be attached and the shoe is ready to be finished and polished.
Rubber sole
The so-called box sole is typically used for sneakers. It’s made out of a rubber blend and sewn to the upper at the sides. This shoe is designed to be lightweight, smooth and flat.
Care
We value the signs of time passing. Here’s how:
- Use a brush to get rid of dust and dirt.
- Store your shoes in a cool dry place.
- After a day of rain, let the shoes dry away from any heat sources.
- Spray deodorizer/ sanitizer on the inside of the shoes and wait a few hours before wearing them.

Design
Bringing the classic and casual worlds together for a shoe that’s midway between a boat shoe and a sneaker. Wear it effortlessly, whenever you like.
The stitching around the toe box is pinched: the edges of each strip of leather are pulled together and joined without overlapping.
This sneaker features a typical sole called the box sole. Designed to be smooth, flat and lightweight, it’s made from a blend of rubber and sewn to the upper at the sides.
Our packaging
We’ve carefully designed our packaging, selecting sustainable materials in order to reduce waste and make the packing process easier for our artisans.
The cardboard is fully recycled and recyclable, as is the twine and packing tissue. Depending on your purchase, you’ll also find one or more cotton bags for your convenience: reuse them for home and wardrobe storage, or for organizing your things when going away on trips.
Made in Italy
Production is based in Montegranaro, in the Marche region, where the tradition of shoemaking has deep roots. For a product that lasts, we only select leathers that age well and put our trust in people who have been in this industry for generations. The artisans in our workshops have learned the job through family and know each and every trade secret.
