Description
There aren't your typical studded-sole Moccasins. Their rubber soles run the whole length of the shoe, making them somewhat solid. We gave them a new soul, but their lines remain iconic. In full grain, hammered-effect calfskin, the urban character of these black moccasins goes with semi-formal beige linen trousers, a white t-shirt and a field jacket. Always without socks.

Construction
It’s like a glove. The tubular moccasin construction is when the upper forms a leather tube that sits on top of the sole. It’s the definition of softness and flexibility, and feels like having a pair of slippers on your feet.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and black coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Sole
The rubber sole covers the entire length of the shoe all the way to the back, making your moccasins solid. Small rubber studs run across the bottom surface: a perfect array of rubber studs in different sizes. This job is made by hand.
Material
Just like full grain leather, it’s one of the most natural, soft and refined leather on the market. From there it starts a tumbling process to cover all the leather’s little imperfections. The result is about aesthetics.
