Description
This tie is made of unlined pure silk in a solid blue colour, designed together with Fabio Attanasio. Grenadine silk, or silk gauze, is worked exclusively in the area of Lake Como: the fabric is composed of tightly twisted yarns that are then woven on historical wooden looms.
Designed with Fabio Attanasio and made in San Giorgio a Cremano (Italy)
Construction
The fabric is cut at a 45° angle, which is known as the 'true bias': this ensures that when worn, the tie hangs correctly without rolling up. Then it is hand-sewn with no lining and finishes with the roulé hemming, a technique in which the edges are rolled up and then sewn by hand.

This tie is made of 100% Grenadine silk. Truly lightweight, it is ideal to wear at any time of the year.
