Description
It's the gummy version Penny Loafer for the man who loves a versatile style all year round. It takes all the characteristics and construction from its cousin model, except for the sole which is a durable Vibram rubber sole. With its full-grain leather, it’s a vintage brown shoe to wear in and outside the office. Wear it all the time. Because of it’s no-lace characteristic, it’s extra comfy.
Construction
The blake construction directly sews the insole and sole together from inside the shoe with a single stitch. It’s the lightest and most flexible choice you can make for classical style shoes.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and dark brown coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Material
Our smooth calfskin leather comes from so-called full grain layer, the outermost and most valuable part of leather. It is also the one that undergoes the least processing: any veining is a guarantee of natural quality. This feature ensures that feet breathe more and that shoes last longer. And have you noticed how elegant they are?
Sole
High quality and superior durability. Under some of our shoes is the Vibram winter rubber sole, the best in the market. It’s made to walk on any surface, especially outdoors. Rain and snow are no longer an issue.
