Description
"Carobbi" is the carefully woven horizontal wallet. You'll notice it, that's for sure, but it won't lose its purpose: ten flat pockets to store your cards and two compartments for your banknotes. Finished with French stitching, you can't escape its elegance.

Construction
The leather flaps are chosen by the craftsman who carves them. For some passages, we use a non-automatic machine: there is always someone guiding his every movement. Some parts are assembled by hand with the help of ecological water-based stickers. The wallet is then finished on the edge with a French-style stitching, which is certainly not easy, with two strips of leather are joined together: the craftsman folds them so that the seam remains hidden and the hem is the same on both sides; these are then sewn back together.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and brown coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Material
Our smooth calfskin leather comes from so-called full grain layer, the outermost and most valuable part of leather. It is also the one that undergoes the least processing: any veining is a guarantee of natural quality. This feature ensures that feet breathe more and that shoes last longer.
