Description

Construction
The leather is selected by our artisans’ expert eyes. And the cuts, as well as the wallet borders, are always made by hand. For some steps in the process, we use non-automatic machinery: there’s always a man to guide all of its movements. Finally, the assembly work is also done by hand using a water-based and eco-friendly glue.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and beige coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Material
Suede calf leather comes from the innermost layer of leather, which is worked through buffing: it consists of abrading the surface, which reveals its typical velvety effect.
Sole
With it’s rubber, it pays respect to the traditions of sneaker culture. Technically called “box bottom” it’s made with 100% rubber. With a very light, smooth and flat sole, it’s suitable for a refined and casual all-purpose look.
