Construction
It’s like a glove. The tubular moccasin construction is when the upper forms a leather tube that sits on top of the sole. It’s the definition of softness and flexibility, and feels like having a pair of slippers on your feet.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through a traditional process called “tanning”. And it’s treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wooden barrel with water, up to 60°C, and beige coloring solution for dyeing. Its combination with this ethnic fabric in green and red colours leaves the shoe perfect for styling even with more basic clothing.
Material
Suede calf leather comes from the innermost layer of leather, which is worked through buffing: it consists of abrading the surface, which reveals its typical velvety effect. The upper is embellished with Jacquard fabric, which the pattern gets directly woven into.
Sole
Made of rubber with cork inserts, this sole combines the advantages of both materials, making the shoe particularly light and comfortable, as well as insulating. It’s perfect for days when you don’t stop, even for a moment.
