Description
Our Chelsea boots in smooth brown leather, pure wool tartan lining and Vibram Carrarmato rubber sole. The wool is a natural temperature regulator that provides warmth and comfort, even at high altitudes. Construction
It’s the classic construction you’d go for when making a pair of Desert Boots, the casual style shoes. It’s called “ideal” binding when upper leather and insole are sewn together.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and brown coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Sole
A rubber Vibram Carrarmato sole which promises a perfect grip on the ground. For us, the work of this Italian company is always a guarantee of quality; a light rubber, designed to experience all types of terrain.
Material
Our smooth calfskin leather comes from so-called full grain layer, the outermost and most valuable part of leather. It is also the one that undergoes the least processing: any veining is a guarantee of natural quality. This feature ensures that feet breathe more and that shoes last longer.
