The Bottega of the “lioness”
Giosuè Carducci defined it as the ‘Lioness of Italy’, for the courage that Brescia showed during its ten days of revolt against the Austrians. We’re talking about 1849. Today in Brescia we find art - and a good drink - two cathedrals, romanesque and venetian buildings.
