Description

Construction
The most valuable construction is called blake-rapid. It’s characterized by a double binding (blake and rapid, precisely): while the first attaches upper, lining and insole; the second one secures the insole and outside sole together. The shoes are therefore easy to resole.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and black coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60° C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Sole
Made with real leather, our soles respect and pay homage to tradition. They’re made from the best bovine leather in the market and gain their distinct color through “vegetal tanning”. And, they’re made to last over time.
Leather
Full grain leather is the most natural, soft and refined leather on the market. Because the grain pattern is so tight, it’s often the nicest to touch and is better for resisting moisture. It’s famous for its longevity and durability, meaning it gets better with age.
