Smooth leather and canvas
We’ve combined smooth leather with practical canvas: for a shoe with a rustic look and vintage charm.
Our smooth calfskin leather is full-grain, crafted from the outermost layer: the most premium part of the animal. The artisan's touch makes it beautifully supple by gently hammering its surface: this process revives the leather, giving it body.
Canvas defines the profiles: a densely woven cotton fabric. Durable and flexible, it stays lightweight while offering a sleek, compact look.
Ideal construction
This construction features visible stitching: an aesthetic embellishment that suits casual style and makes the shoe more insulating.
The process begins with careful study of the leather; after finding the best part, the artisan cuts and shapes it round the last to form the upper. This is then delicately hammered to smooth down the seams and soften the parts that come into contact with the foot.
Here, the artisans leave the ends of the leather facing outwards, like little wings. These are attached to the outsole with an external seam called a Rapid stitch, named after the machine that makes it. This step requires time and precision. Once the last has been removed, the shoe is ready to be finished and buffed.
Vibram rubber lug sole
Vibram designed the lug sole in 1937, bringing together the grip of climbing shoes and the sturdiness of hiking shoes to form true Italian excellence. For this shoe, we’ve chosen a monobloc sole, durable and suitable for all terrains.
Care
We value the signs of time passing. Here’s how:
- Use a brush to get rid of dust and dirt.
- Store your shoes in a cool dry place.
- After a day of rain, let the shoes dry away from any heat sources.
- Spray deodorizer/ sanitizer on the inside of the shoes and wait a few hours before wearing them.

Our packaging
We’ve carefully designed our packaging, selecting sustainable materials in order to reduce waste and make the packing process easier for our artisans.
The cardboard is fully recycled and recyclable, as is the twine and packing tissue. Depending on your purchase, you’ll also find one or more cotton bags for your convenience: reuse them for home and wardrobe storage, or for organizing your things when going away on trips.
Made in Italy
Production is based in Montegranaro, in the Marche region, where the tradition of shoemaking has deep roots. For a product that lasts, we only select leathers that age well and put our trust in people who have been in this industry for generations. The artisans in our workshops have learned the job through family and know each and every trade secret.
