The cognac lace-up boot in tumbled calf leather, which shows the small imperfections of this wild animal expressing all its country soul. Soft and resistant at the same time, you'll wear it comfortably thanks to the loop at the back. On your rural weekends, wear them with denim, a flannel shirt and a corduroy jacket. And a grey woolen flat cap on your head.
Made in Montegranaro (Italy).
The blake construction directly sews the insole and sole together from inside the shoe with a single stitch. It’s the lightest and most flexible choice you can make for classical style shoes.
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and cognac coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
An original process goes into making these rock-Vibram rubber soles: the smooth edges keep the rock in place at the center, making the shoe waterproof and adherent with a refined touch. Inside the shoe, your foot shapes the integrated sole: they'll feel more and more comfortable with every step.
Just like full grain leather, it’s one of the most natural, soft and refined leather on the market. From there it starts a tumbling process to cover all the leather’s little imperfections. The result is about aesthetics.
