Description
Our dark brown greased suede hiking boots are inspired by mountain life. Built to be solid and enveloping ankle boots, to accompany you on your winter days: between the lining and the leather there is a membrane that increases its water resistance; and there are no openings on the tongue: it is a single piece, so you can keep the rain at bay. Adorned with shoelaces in two colours and visible stitching, they blend perfectly with the Vibram rubber sole. A jaunt in the snow, cream-coloured moleskin trousers, a water-coloured turtleneck and a mutton jumper (stolen from dad's wardrobe).

Construction
This process consists of fixing the lining to the mounting sole; the leather's edges, used for the upper (the upper section of the shoe), are then stitched to the sole with rapid technique.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and dark brown coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Material
Suede calf leather comes from the innermost layer of leather, which is worked through buffing: it consists of abrading the surface, which reveals its typical velvety effect. It is made even softer by a layer of fat, which also enhances the chiaroscuro effect.
Sole
This is the iconic Vibram Carrarmato rubber sole, built on grip, inspired by mountain life: thick and durable. If you’ve missed it, "Carrarmato" means "tank tread" and it was the first sole ever created with rubber lug soles.
