100% Wool
For this suit we used high-tension worsted wool, characteristically lightweight and smooth to the touch. It doesn’t crease and is well-adapted to the summertime. Wool is a naturally soft and breathable fiber, with thermoregulatory properties. It’s renewable and biodegradable: once worn out, it decomposes within just a few years, giving vital nutrients back to the earth. We put our trust in wool made by Holland and Sherry, a historic company that have been working with it since 1836. We believe in quality wool that’s kind to people and the environment.
Care
We recommend dry cleaning, as noted on the label. Each coat is delicate in its own way: a faithful companion that we expose to our daily adventures.
When not being worn, the coat should be kept on a strong and sturdy coat hanger with the pockets emptied so that the sleeves, shoulders and pockets are not distorted.
If it has been worn in the rain, let it air dry once inside, ensuring it is kept away from heat sources so the fabric stays fresh and new.
Design

The blazer is structured, making it durable with a balanced aplomb. That means it has a canvas interlining between the fabric and the lining, giving it shape. Our interlinings are prepared by hand, so this process demands particular care and attention.
The ‘barchetta’ pocket can be found near the top, drawing the eye to the blazer’s perfectly inclined V shape - wide-set shoulders and narrow at the waist.
The Neapolitan shoulder: the armscye is made to be larger than the sleeve head opening, so that when they are sewn together, some shirring is visible on the shoulder seam. This is a sophisticated technique allowing increased flexibility and freedom of movement.
The buttonholes are hand sewn with a needle and thread, as they were back in the day.
It has patch pockets affixed to the fabric with extreme precision. They bring out the more relaxed style of the garment, along with its metal buttons.
Our packaging
We’ve carefully designed our packaging, selecting sustainable materials in order to reduce waste and make the packing process easier for our artisans.
The cardboard is fully recycled and recyclable, as is the twine and packing tissue. Depending on your purchase, you’ll also find one or more cotton bags for your convenience: reuse them for home and wardrobe storage, or for organizing your things when going away on trips.

We’ve always put our trust in the hands of the best local artisans. Afterall, Italy itself is like a huge open-air workshop. This suit was sewn in Naples: Fabio Attanasio guided us to a trusted workshop where excellence and tradition truly shine.
