Description
They are the most casual Desert Boots of our collection. When we designed them together with our artisans, we imagined them on creative people’s feet from all around the world. With their suede leather and a para rubber sole, they’re the blue shoes for the fall days. Match them with a pair of beige chinos.
Construction
It’s the classic construction you’d go for when making a pair of Desert Boots, the casual style shoes. It’s called “ideal” binding when upper leather and insole are sewn together.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and blue coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Material
Suede calf leather comes from the innermost layer of leather, which is worked through buffing: it consists of abrading the surface, which reveals its typical velvety effect.
Sole
Para soles are made with rubber taken from the smoked lattice. Guess where this term comes from? From the Brazilian area called Parà, where the wild plants from which lattice is extracted grow. A natural material for a flexible and comfy shoe.
